We wrapped up our 4 day excursion of the North Island in the harbor city of Wellington. The closest we could get to nature in the urban area was venturing through the downhill path through the city's botanical garden. Towards the end of the trail was one of the most incredible magnolia trees I can ever recall seeing. The warped branches grew in every which way creating an unparalleled canopy.
